This Privacy Policy describes how UpNext ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information provided by customers who use the UpNext barbershop queue management system operated by Fademasters Barbershop.

Information We Collect

When you check in to our walk-in queue, we collect the following information:

Your first name
Your mobile phone number
Your party size (if checking in for a group)
Your check-in time and queue position

How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide solely to manage your place in the barbershop queue. Specifically:

Your name is shown to shop staff so they know who's next.
Your phone number is used to recognize you on return visits (so you don't have to re-enter your information) and to give shop staff a way to identify you when it's your turn.
Your queue position and check-in time are used to calculate your place in line and your estimated wait.

UpNext does not currently send SMS or marketing messages to customers. If that ever changes, this policy will be updated and you will be asked to opt in before any messages are sent.

We do not use your information for marketing purposes. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties.

Data Retention

Your check-in information is stored temporarily and used only for the duration of your visit. Queue data is cleared regularly. We do not retain your phone number for future marketing or outreach.

Data Security

We use Firebase (Google) for data storage, which employs industry-standard security measures to protect your information. Access to customer data is restricted to authorized shop staff only.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate UpNext:

Firebase (Google) — database, authentication, and push notifications to shop staff

These providers have their own privacy policies governing how they handle data.

Children's Privacy

Our service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
